Unbeatable Scott snatches pole position on Sunday

Great Britain’s driver took second pole position of the weekend for RP Motorsport. Troitskiy (Drivex) will start alongside from the front row. Fittje (Fortec) and Karkosik (RP Motorsport) will share row two on the starting grid

Harrison Scott claimed a dominant pole position for RP Motorsport at Circuit Paul Ricard in hot and sunny weather (29 degrees Celsius). The series leader will start on the pole for Sunday’s race after posting a lap time of 1:59.576. His qualifying lap time was slightly slower than yesterday but the Briton still secured another pole position and got the extra point.  Russia’s Nikita Troitskiy (Drivex) will start alongside the pole-sitter in race 2 showing his consistently fast pace once again.

Behind, Germany’s Jannes Fittje (Fortec) took third spot ahead of Alex Karkosik (RP Motorsport), the latter earning a row two starting position. Indian Ameya Vaidyanathan and Canadian Devlin DeFrancesco secured an all-Carlin row three ahead of Simo Laaksonen (Campos Racing) and Christian Hahn (Drivex), they both starting from row four and their highest ever position on the grid in the series. Thiago Vivacqua (Campos Racing) and his teammate Petru Florescu filled row five and rounded off the top-ten.
